We are a registered not for profit charity and our aim is to provide a quality ‘value for money’ outstanding childcare provision, to the local and wider community
We have excellent links with all local schools and early years settings, and value the importance of supporting transitions for our children. In addition, we work closely with the local authority and fellow professionals (when additional support is needed), including health visitors and speech and language therapists to ensure every child receives the very best individual care.
Our families tell us the atmosphere of our nursery is ‘so homely and welcoming’, and an ‘exciting and inspirational place’ where every child will thrive and develop to their full potential. We are proud of Caterpillars and the ‘home from home’ environment we provide here. Our children are happy, contented, motivated and confident learners, developing valuable lifelong skills in readiness for school and beyond.
Hi my name is Angie and I have been in early years education and part of the ‘Caterpillars family’ for over 29 years. My inspiring motivation is to enable every one of our babies and children to thrive and excel, fostering their individual curiosity and sense of motivation. I have a strong passion for the natural outdoor environment in which we live, and take the greatest pleasure in seeing children engage freely, displaying ‘awe and wonder’ in their ‘outdoor world’. Here at Caterpillars with our unique pedagogical ethos, I relish in creating innovative and inspirational ‘enquiry based learning’ opportunities, that will empower the lifelong self confidence and self aspirational foundations for each and every baby and child that we care for.
